New Urban Mines / Resource Efficiency Network Report on ‘Bioplastics: Degradable, Renewable, Compostable’
The Resource Efficiency Knowledge Transfer Network (RE-KTN) has recently published a report on bioplastics, which was produced by Urban Mines. The report provides an environmental overview of the bioplastics sector and examines policy responses by national governments to the use of carrier bags by retailers.
Other topics covered include retailer initiatives to reduce the use of carrier bags and a look at some bioplastics research projects in the UK.
A copy of the report can be downloaded from the RE-KTN website – www.resource-efficiency.org
The report is free to members and it is free to register and join the network. A copy of the report contents list can be downloaded by clicking on the icon below.
